GLACIER PARK- Viewer Freddy Terranova captured video of the Howe Ridge Fire in Glacier National Park blowing up Sunday night.

The time-lapse video shows the dramatic growth of the fire, which is now at 2,600 acres.

Terranova said the fire was “probably the most intense thing I have ever seen in my entire life.”

He said he started the time lapse at 4:30 p.m. and then finished the last sequence at around 2 a.m.

Most was shot from the Sprague Creek campground area.

The Howe Ridge Fire has burned an estimated 2,600 acres as of Wednesday.

There have been no reported injuries, but numerous homes and structures have been destroyed.
