MISSOULA — We introduce you to 12-year-old Mason who is this month's A Waiting Child.
Mason loves to swim, draw, play video games, going to movies, camping and playing in the great outdoors.
"I love video games, but also love going outside making sticks," Mason said.
He also says he loves to cook and enjoys cooking steak, potatoes and hot dogs.
When we spoke to Mason, his eyes lit up when he was mentioning how much he loves to go off-roading in all-terrain vehicles.
This adventure seeker also loves horror, adventure and dinosaur movies, saying his favorite actor is Kevin Hart.
Mason tells us he helps take care of the four dogs at his group home and recently took part in dog training.
And it may surprise you but this 12-year-old loves musicals. Mason says the Broadway play Newsies had a positive impact on him.
"It was about like these kids who weren't getting treated right and they upped the prices so they couldn't sell newspapers and basically at the end of the movie it was a happy ending. That's why I like it."
