Hi, I’m Alina Hauter and I’m thrilled about being a Multimedia Journalist for Q2. I’ve wanted to become a news personality ever since I was a little kid. My grandmother would always say she was going to see me on TV one day, and here I am!
I’ve had the pleasure of having a very non-traditional childhood. I grew up in South Korea and attended elementary, middle and high school at Osan Air Force Base. My military lifestyle offered me unique experiences that will always be a part of me.
I’ve also had the opportunity to live in variety of places including; Florida, Hawaii, and most recently, Colorado where I worked for FOX31 in Denver. For three years I was an operations technician offering me insight on the behind-the-scenes aspect of how broadcast news works.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Metropolitan State University in Denver, CO with a major in Communication Studies/Broadcasting and a minor in Digital Media.
