BILLINGS — What a better way to be a Montanan than order takeout from 406 Kitchen and Taproom.
Melissa Gjerde, the general manager of the 406 on North 27th Street in Billings said: "We are in a very social environment. You get into this business for that reason."
Gjerde said they have been coming up with fun ways to help the community stay connected and supported. Ideas like teaching the you how to make your own cocktails at home!
"Billings is just a great community to be a part of, I mean we couldn’t have asked for a better community and who has been supporting us, and all of the local businesses in town," she said.
Fun ways like creating special baskets for people who are stuck at home and not able to celebrate special occasions with the people they love, so they still feel loved.
"A friend of mine had called and asked to deliver a mimosa package to her friend for her birthday and I thought, 'Well that’s interesting.' No one is delivering flowers right now, so I thought well how about a boozy bouquet? I can do one for dad and maybe throw in bottle of Budweiser or for mom or a girlfriend or someone like that. We did a cute little bouquet with White Claws, some straws and a little white claw basket."
A creative way to keep us all feeling a little more normal during these unfamiliar times.
