Jennifer Fick, who goes by Jenny, grew up in Billings, Montana.

She went to Skyview High School and graduated from Montana State University Billings with a degree in Mass Communication.

From a young age, Jenny had a love for writing, and enjoyed writing poetry.

She first became intrigued by broadcasting when she got to attend a practice for her favorite NHL team, the Colorado Avalanche.

Kyle Keefe, a sports reporter for Altitude television was interviewing one of the players next to the bleachers, and Jenny was hooked.

She wrote for The Talon, the school newspaper at Skyview.

That experience, coupled with the support and enthusiasm of several meaningful teachers, influenced Jenny to pursue a career where she would be able to write.

Jenny started as a newscast assistant for the 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts at KTVQ in 2015, and joined the Montana This Morning crew in September 2016.

She is the associate producer for the morning show, and appears on-air for MTM’s "Trending" segment.

Jenny enjoys thrift shopping with her mom, spending time with her little nephew, crafts, and being active.

One of her favorite parts of her news experience so far has been getting to see so many sides of the Billings community.
