Rob Griggs

Rob Griggs has called Billings his home for 50 years. In addition to working in local media since 1981, Rob served overseas in the US Air Force as an Armed Forces Radio and Television broadcaster. Rob also served as an associate pastor in full-time church ministry in Billings for over 25 years. Rob married his best friend Tammy in 1985. Together, they have a wonderful daughter, Alicia. Rob currently enjoys his roles as a weather anchor, reporter and Q2 promotions ‘man about the town’. Rob and Tammy still love their regular ‘windshield time’ together on drives across Montana and Wyoming. Rob has been in love with the highway since he was 15 and still logs a lot of miles every summer on his motorcycle.

Fun Fact: For over 15 years, Rob’s been working on the lead guitar solo of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s ‘Pride and Joy’. As all his neighbors (within earshot of the amplifier) can attest he still doesn’t quite have it down, but he’ll never give up trying to ‘nail’ it.

Fun Fact: While serving in the air force in Spain, Rob went on a 2-hour simulated-combat sortie in an F-16…ask him to tell you about it sometime (and once he gets going on the stories, good luck in shutting him up) 🙂
