HELENA – A woman died in a crash on Highway 12, about seven miles outside of Townsend.
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Amanda Villa said the woman was the only occupant in this single vehicle crash.
Trooper Villa said MHP received the call just before 9:15 p.m. Friday.
The name of the woman has not yet been released.
The cause of this crash is unknown at this time, and MHP is still investigating.
