Dustin Lynch announced as opening performance at MontanaFair music series

Posted

MetraPark announced Tuesday that country music performer Dustin Lynch will kickoff the MontanaFair concert series this year.

"I am really excited to start talking about MontanaFair after all this snow and winter weather," MontanaFair General Manager Bill Dutcher said in a press release. "Dustin Lynch brings country music back to the fair this year and kicks off the Pepsi Entertainment Series Friday Night."

Dustin Lynch is one of the hottest acts in country music, the press release states. Lynch’s last six singles, including his latest Small Town Boy, have all been number one songs on the U.S. country airplay chart. The current single, I’d Be Jealous too, is working its way to join its predecessors.

Lynch’s third album, CURRENT MOOD released in September is a top 5 album and currently sits at number two. Hit singles from Lynch include "Cowboys and Angels," "She Cranks My Tractor," "Wild in Your Smile," "Where It’s At (Yep, Yep)," "Hell of a Night," "Mind Reader," and "Seein’ Red."

The 32-year-old Lynch opens MontanaFair and the Pepsi Entertainment Series Friday, Aug. 10.

Tickets for the individual shows at the fair go on sale April 27 at the MetraPark Box Office, by phone at 800-336-8538, or online at MetraPark.com
