BOZEMAN – JetBlue Airways announced Wednesday that the company will offer non-stop seasonal service from Bozeman to Long Beach Airport.

It’s the first-ever scheduled service by the airline in Montana.

According to a company press release, the airline will operate seasonal flights between Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) and Long Beach beginning Dec. 13. Seats are on sale today starting at $139 one way.

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is among the busiest airports in the Northwest with more than 1.2 million travelers using the facility every year. It surpassed Billings Logan International as Montana’s largest airport in 2013.

“We are excited to see JetBlue bring their fantastic brand to Montana with the addition of service between Bozeman and Long Beach,” said Scott Humphrey, deputy airport director.

JetBlue will operate the twice-weekly flights both winter and summer suing Airbus A320 aircraft in a one-class configuration. Winter flights will operate Thursdays and Sundays, beginning Dec. 16. Flights will depart LGB at 10:48 a.m and arrive in Bozeman at 2:27 p.m. and depart BZN at 3:12 p.m. arriving at 4:51 p.m.
