A Billings woman had the experience of a lifetime when she was told to “come on down.”
Gwen Catherwood was a contestant on Friday morning’s episode of the Price is Right.
Catherwood told Q2 she was just excited to be there and could hardly stay in her seat.
That excitement escalated when she saw her name on a cue card at the start of the show.
“When they start the show and began calling out names, it’s so loud that you can’t actually hear what they’re saying. I was just dancing in my seat and having a great time when I realized there was a woman holding up a big cue card with my name on it!” she told Q2 in an email.
A $1 bid won her a bumper pool table and got her on the stage to play Vend-O-Price.
Catherwood’s lucky streak ended there, but she said it was more about the experience than the prize.
“It was by far one of the most fun things I’ve ever done. The entire crew, Drew, the Director, and the woman in charge of keeping our energy high, were all so wonderful, they really made it a memorable experience!” Catherwood said.
