Small Montana towns are often made up of dedicated, community-driven people.
And they came through in this month’s One School at a Time contest, sponsored by Q2 and Cloud Peak Energy.
Pine Butte Elementary School in Colstrip took top honors of $2,000 for its wobble stools.
West Side Elementary School in Sidney will receive $1,000 in second place to buy clay and pottery materials.
And Yellowstone Academy in Billings will take home $500 for supplies for its summer arts program.
