Q2 Weather: Warm and dry for Sunday

Posted

A ridge of high pressure is keeping things warm, dry and clear across much of our area.

This is making for a very pleasant Sunday to get out and enjoy the outdoors, or mow your lawn, if the wet conditions from late this week kept you from checking that off the to do list until now.

This ridge will start to break down tomorrow as a pacific system moves into the western portion of the state. But this system will push warm temperatures in to our area ahead of a cold front that will likely lead to very warm conditions across our area.

It would not be out of the question to see multiple locations break the 90 degree barrier for the first time this year.

This system will leave things slightly more unsettled in its wake for the middle portion of the week and the chance for some storms jumps back into the forecast.
