Monday will be the overall the warmest day so far in 2018. And it will end with at least isolated thunderstorms.
The sunny, warm and dry conditions that persisted through the weekend peak today. Many of the high temperatures will be the warmest so far in 2018, hitting the upper 80s to low 90s.
As a cold front moves through the area this evening, there will be a slight chance for shower thunderstorm especially in areas north the Billings.
Some of the storms could be severe, with gusty winds being the number one threat. Areas of heavy rain and hail are also possible.
Tuesday will be cooler, with highs mainly in the 70s to low 80s. There will be a better chance for showers and thunderstorms across the entire area Tuesday with increase humidity across the region.

Monday… Sunny and hot with a high near 91. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
Monday night… Isolated showers and thunderstorms that could produce strong to severe weather. Otherwise partly cloudy with a low near 56.
Tuesday… Mostly sunny with a high near 76. Scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening.
