Temperatures today are expected to be above seasonal.
That’s a phrase we have not had the opportunity to utter over the last few days, but today things have turned a bit of a corner.
We are under the influence of a high pressure ridge that is going to allow skies to clear and sunshine to warm things up here in Billings.
The change will be somewhat short lived as things get a bit breezier tomorrow and slightly cooler as well.
This sets the stage for a cool, rainy weekend. There will be plenty of moisture in the region by the weekend as the remnants of a tropical system are sitting in the Great Basin and that moisture along with moisture from the Gulf are being swept up into our neck of the woods.
This will allow for fairly consistent rain over the course of the weekend. Temperatures are expected to be much lower, below seasonal once again, with readings in the mid 60s.
Today appears to be the gem of the week so get out there and enjoy the sunshine.
Always remember your sunscreen, as UV ratings are very high in sunny conditions this time of year.
