The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a Flood Warning for the Musselshell River near Musselshell affecting Musselshell County
Recent heavy rainfall has produced sharp rises on the Musselshell River upstream of Roundup. This high water will continue to move down river and will result in the Musselshell River at Roundup rising above flood stage early Thursday morning and then rising to major flood stage on Friday. The Musselshell River at Musselshell is also expected to rise to flood stage Thursday evening, and then rise to moderate flood stage on Friday. The river is expected to remain at or above flood stage into early next week.
