An odd new tourist attraction off the coast of Hawaii – a piece of floating lava from one of Hawaii’s fissures caught the attention of boaters this week.
Joshua Burbank, who captured video of the sight, coined it a “lava berg."
Kilauea volcano began erupting about six weeks ago, and lava is still flowing strong.
The volcano has destroyed hundreds of homes and caused the evacuation of entire communities on the Big Island.
