BILLINGS – Zimmerman Trail will be closed this weekend because of a "noticeable crack" on the outside lane of the road, Billings city engineers announced Friday.
The engineering department said on Facebook they conducted an evaluation and closed the road because of the potential for failure of the slope and road.
The city did not provide a timeline for Zimmerman to reopen.
