BILLINGS – A driver suffered minor injuries Monday morning after being ejected in a rollover crash on King Avenue East.

Sgt. Shane Winden of the Billings Police Department said the driver, a 30-year-old man from Billings, was driving west on King Avenue East when he drove into the median then hit rocks and signs which caused the  Ford minivan to flip and roll shortly after 7:30 a.m.

The driver was initially pinned, but was able to exit the minivan with assistance.

He was taken to Billings Clinic for medical attention.

Winden said the man was not wearing a seatbelt and there were no obvious signs of drug or alcohol use.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle.

Officers plan to interview him later on at the hospital to find out what caused him to drive into the median.

The Billings Fire Department was also called to the scene to assist in cleaning up debris from the crash.
