Some cars on a BNSF train derailed while stopped on the railroad between Culbertson and Bainville on Saturday around 5 p.m.
According to Ross Lane, the director of public affairs for BNSF in Montana, the train was parked due to high wind warnings in the area. The winds caused the cars to derail.
The train was carrying a variety of consumer products and hazardous materials were not involved. There were no injuries.
BNSF crews worked to clear the cars and traffic resumed at approximately 6:20 a.m. on Sunday.
