BILLINGS – One person is dead and four others are in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a vehicle rollover on Interstate 90 near Park City.
The accident occurred right after 10 a.m. Sunday at mile marker 425.
A 39-year-old man from Crosby, N. D. suffered life-threatening injuries after the Chevrolet Blazer he was driving veered off the road to the right.
He overcorrected and the vehicle rolled back onto the interstate several times before coming to rest on its wheels in the median.
The driver was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Billings Clinic.
A 39-year-old woman from Columbus, N. D. was a passenger and died on scene. She was wearing a seatbelt.
Three children, ages 16, 15 and 11, all suffered life-threatening injuries.
The 16-year-old girl from Crosby was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to St. Vincent Healthcare.
A 15-year-old girl from Columbus was taken to Billings Clinic, and the 11-year-old girl was transported to St. Vincent Healthcare.
Alcohol, drugs and speed are not considered factors in the crash.
