Q2 Weather: Last of the warm days for now

Very warm Tuesday but cooler Wednesday through Saturday.Expect increasing clouds Tuesday, as an upper-level disturbance moves from Canada. As the cold front moves through Tuesday evening, it will create showers and thunderstorms in the mountains and foothills. Periods of gusty winds could develop in the plains.Highs Tuesday will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s. By Wednesday afternoon, temperatures will drop about 10 degrees with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.Temperatures will remain in the 70s to low 80s through Saturday for the highs, and mainly 50s for the lows. Best chance of rain for Billings and the rest of the lower elevations is Thursday and Friday.Billings forecast:Tuesday… Sunny and hot with a high near 92.  Increasing afternoon clouds.Tuesday night… Partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms before midnight.  These storms could produce more wind than rain.  Low of about 60.Wednesday… Mostly sunny and around 81 for the warmest reading.
