Divers were called to Lake Elmo early Tuesday for a rescue operation after a vehicle was driven into the water.
The call came in just before 2:30 Tuesday morning.
Emergency dispatchers received a call from someone who said their cousin called them, saying they had just driven into Lake Elmo.
When crews arrived, they spotted a vehicle with its lights still on, under the water about 50-feet off the shore.
A white Chevy pickup was pulled from the water shortly after 3:15 a.m. but no one was inside.
Divers were requested to search the lake.
