Suspect in Missoula high school shooting arrested

MISSOULA – Missoula police say they have arrested the suspect that they believe was involved in a June shooting on the Sentinel High School campus.

Missoula Police Sgt.Travis Welsh said Dylan Conat, 17, was taken into custody at approximately 1:55 p.m. Wednesday, 

Welsh says that detectives learned Conat was in an apartment located in the 2300 block of 55th Street in the South Hills of Missoula. Conat was taken into custody without incident when he was observed leaving the residence. 

Conat was wanted on a felony warrant in reference to the shooting that injured two boys, age 16 and 17, that took place on the Sentinel High School campus on June 24.

Both victims survived their injuries, but they were also arrested on outstanding warrants that were not related to this case.
