BILLINGS- The investigation continues into the suspicious death of a woman found more than three months ago in the Yellowstone River at Two Moon Park.
The Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office is asking for new leads about Harriet Patricia Wilson, who was 42 when she died, Sheriff MIke Linder said in a press release Thursday.
Wilson’s body was found on the river at 2:45 p.m. April 22.
When her body was recovered, she had been deceased for a short period and appeared to have suffered injuries before her death, Linder said.
“Although there were no obvious signs of foul play, we do consider this death suspicious,” Linder stated in an April 24 news release. "Detectives will treat and investigate this incident as a homicide."
On April 26, Linder stated in a news release that an investigation had determined Wilson was in downtown Billings, days before she died.
She was wearing a white t-shirt with red and black lettering, dark jeans and one dark colored Sketcher brand boot.
