CODY, Wyo.- Wyoming’s storied and funky Smith Mansion is on the market, listed at $750,000.
Richard Realty and its brokers out of Wyoming have the property listed on their website, calling it Wyoming’s most unique landmark.
The Smith Mansion has reportedly captivated visitors and locals for decades, built with log structures featured in magazine articles and television commercials. According to the site, the mansion even at one point captivated the eye of movie directors who considered it for motion pictures.
The massive structure was built in 1971 by Francis Lee Smith, an architect from Cody. He fell to his death from the mansion in 1992.
It was his daughter who wanted to ultimately restore the mansion and open it to the public.
The website listed the property last Wednesday.
