BOZEMAN – If we learned anything from Winnie the Pooh, it’s that bears love honey- and a good nap.

Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks, along with the Bozeman Police Department, responded to a residence on Thursday, to remove a sleeping bear from a garage.

According to a Facebook post by the Bozeman police, a homeowner found the 25-year-old female black bear sleeping in their garage.  They said it appeared the bear had dipped into the neighbors honey bee hives before laying down to rest.

Eventually Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, with the help of the police department, tranquilized and removed the bear, before releasing her back into the wild.
