LAUREL – Authorities said Tuesday that one man died Monday after a three-vehicle crash on Highway 310 south of Laurel.
According to Montana Highway Patrol, the 33-year-old Billings man died at the hospital sometime after the crash. He was not wearing his seat belt.
The others involved, a 47-year-old Joliet woman and a 62-year-old Cody, Wyo., man were both wearing their seatbelts and were transported to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers said the Billings man was driving a Mercedes Sprinter van southbound when he crossed into the left-hand turning lane and continued into northbound traffic. The van struck an SUV, driven by the Joliet woman, then continued down Highway 310 before crashing into the final car head on.
