Brewster’s four-year term ends Dec. 31, 2019. The election for the four-year term is in November 2019.

Brewstertold Q2 he wants to spend time with family, who live out of state.

Brewster has lived in Billings for 29 years and was on the Billings Public Schools board for six years and has served two previous terms on the Billings City Council.

“Councilmember Brewster will be missed,” Cole said in a news release. “He served the city and the Heights with dedication, diligence and distinction for many years. It will be tough to fill his shoes, but I am confident that we will have many qualified applicants to choose from.”
