BILLINGS – Firefighters responded Saturday evening to a structure fire at 615 Samuel Court.
At around 5:15 PM, police say an occupant in the apartment exited and asked neighbors to call 911.
Police say the residence had heavy fire and smoke damage throughout the apartment, which also extended into the attic space above the kitchen.
There was also fire damage to the attic space above the neighboring apartment.
The estimated property and content loss is $100,000, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The apartment was occupied and the resident was injured. The injuries are unknown.
