BILLINGS – On the heels of what is shaping up to be a warmer and drier weekend, the Billings area will likely see a cool and wet Memorial Day Monday.

The coolest Memorial Day daytime high on record was 47 degrees back in 2011. The forecast high for Billings this Monday is 54 degrees which would be the fifth coolest Memorial Day on record.

Memorial Day 2018 was the wettest on record with 1.13 inches of precipitation. Once again, the Billings area is expecting rain showers and thunderstorms Monday.

Although it’s unclear how much rainfall will occur on Monday, 0.4 inches of precipitation in Billings would rank as the fifth wettest Memorial Day on record.
