BILLINGS – Billings Police Department continues to investigate a shooting that involved three victims at Pioneer Park early Sunday morning.
Billings police dispatch received multiple calls at about 3:45 a.m Sunday, claiming to hear shots fired in the Pioneer Park area.
Billings Police Lt. Brandon Wooley says all three victims were injured by gunfire and treated at a local hospital. Wooley says all three arrived at the hospital by private vehicles.
The three injured victims are a 14-year-old Billings male, a 17-year-old Billings male, and an 18-year-old Billings female.
Wooley says investigators are still trying to determine the motive of the shooting and events leading to and have not identified any suspects yet. The case is ongoing and has been assigned to the BPD investigations division.
In a tweet Monday, Billings Police said they do not believe the shooting was a random incident.
