Montana state health officials reported three more deaths and 129 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.
One new death wasreported in Lake County and one death was reported in Yellowstone County. The Yellowstone County death was connected to the Billings care facility where a COVID-19 outbreak has now claimed the lives of 15 people. A man in his 80s died Thursday at Canyon Creek Memory Care, according to RiverStone Health.

The third death was reported in Glacier County. The Glacier County and Lake County deaths are the first COVID-19 related deaths in those areas. Yellowstone County now has reported 21 COVID-19 related deaths. The total number of deaths from the virus in Montana now stands at 46.
Yellowstone County reported the most new cases Friday with 40, followed by Cascade County with 20 and Gallatin County with 18. Flathead County reported 13 new cases and Glacier County has 10 new coronavirus cases. Big Horn County reported eight new cases. (Update 8 p.m. Big Horn County health officials upgraded the Friday total to 21 new cases.)
The remaining new cases were distribute across 11 Montana counties.

There are currently 1,178 active COVID-19 cases in Montana. Yellowstone County has the most active cases with 429. Gallatin and Big Horn counties each have 110 active cases. Lake County has 100 active cases.
