71 COVID-19 cases now confirmed in Montana

As of Thursday morning, the State of Montana has confirmed 71 positive COVID-19 cases in the state. The prior total reported Wednesday afternoon was 65.

According to the Montana Response COVID-19 case map , Lincoln County and Glacier County are reporting their first cases.

Two more cases are confirmed in Cascade County, bringing its total to 5.

Lewis and Clark County also confirms another case. There are four total in the county.

Yellowstone County rises to 13 cases with one new patient confirmed Thursday morning.

  • Yellowstone County - 13 Cases

  • Madison County - 2 Cases
  • Broadwater County - 2 Cases

To date there have been no deaths associated with COVID-19 in the state of Montana.

DPHHS did indicate on the map data that one person has been hospitalized. No further information was reported about the person's condition or identification.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the DPHHS public health lab in Helena has completed 2,193 tests for COVID-19.
