Big Horn County reported two new COVID-19 cases Wednesday afternoon, bringing total cumulative cases to 70 (highest in the state) and total active cases to 29.
The two cases were a male in his teens and a man in his 60s.
Four more people were reported as recovering Wednesday for a total of 38, according to Health Officer Rhonda Johnson. A total of 27 patients are quarantined and recovering at home, while two are in the hospital.
Statewide, Montana has 777 total cases and 176 active cases. MTN is reporting one fewer total case and one fewer recovered case due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.
