Big Horn County announced three new positive cases of COVID-19 Wednesday from testing at its sentinel surveillance testing event.
The three (3) newly-confirmed cases are:
· One (1) female in her 20’s
· One (1) male under age 10
· One (1) male in his 20’s
All three were asymptomatic and tested positive at two testing events last week on the Crow reservation, according to Rhonda Johnson, the county's health officer.
These new cases bring Big Horn County's total positive cases to 12. All four active cases, including the three new ones, are recovering at home in isolation.
All contracts from the three new cases are being traced by the county, according to Johnson.
Montana now has 484 total cases, with 23 active cases. MTN is reporting one fewer total cases and one fewer recovered cases due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.
