Big Horn County reports 4th COVID-19-related death

Big Horn County reported its fourth COVID-19-related death Thursday evening, a woman in her 60s who was in the hospital.

The county's health officer, Rhonda Johnson, also reported four new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total cumulative cases in the county to 87.

The new cases include a male between 10 and 19, a man and a woman in their 20s and a man in his 50s. Three of the cases were contacts of other cases in Big Horn County, while the other is not connected to any previous cluster.

The county now has 34 active cases of COVID-19. Of those, 32 are quarantined and recovering at home, while two are in the hospital.

Montana now has 23 COVID-19-related deaths statewide.
