HARDIN - Big Horn County health officials reported Thursday the 68th death of a county resident due to COVID-19.
The case involved a woman in her 60s who was hospitalized prior to her death on Tuesday, according to a press release.
"The Big Horn County COVID-19 Response Unified Coalition (is) deeply saddened to learn of her passing and extends our deepest sympathies to her family and all who knew her on her tragic loss," the press release states.
The death is the first of a county resident recorded in February. The County’s fatality rate is 3.0% (68 deaths out of 2,281 total cases).
