Big Horn County reports new COVID-19-related death, 2 new cases

Big Horn County health officials confirmed a third COVID-19-related death and two new confirmed positive cases.

The death was a woman in her 30s who was in the hospital.

The two new cases are a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s. Both were found through contact tracing of previous cases.

Big Horn County now has 49 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Of those cases, 34 have recovered, 12 are active and three have died.

Montana now has 20 deaths.

The total number of cases statewide now stands at 616. MTN is reporting one fewer total case and one fewer recovered case due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.
