Carbon County is holding free COVID-19 drive-through testing at Red Lodge High School this weekend.
The county's incident management team said in a Tuesday news release that the goal of the testing event is to survey the prevalence of the novel coronavirus in symptomatic and asymptomatic people in the community.
All Carbon County permanent and summer residents are encouraged to attend. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Testing is quick and painless, and results will be available in three to five days, according to the team.
Carbon County has reported six cases of COVID-19 since the outbreak. All patients have recovered, according to the Montana COVID-19 tracking database.
