Crow Tribal officials have declared a state of emergency due to the coronavirus.

An announcement made in a press release issued by Chairman Alvin Not Afraid Jr. states the action includes restrictions for all tribal employee work-related travel until further notice.

All tribal employees are required immediately to work from home for the next two weeks, the release states.

Tribal members who have traveled outside the reservation recently to known coronavirus areas are asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.

Under the state of emergency, the tribe will enforce a curfew at 10 p.m. nightly, the release states.
