Montana COVID-19 cases rise above 400, 1 new case in Yellowstone County

The number of confirmed COVID-19 increased to 404 on Wednesday, up 5 cases from the previous count.

According to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracker, the five new cases are in five different counties, including Yellowstone, Gallatin, Pondera, Flathead, and Roosevelt counties.

Yellowstone County now has 64 COVID-19 cases, the second most in the state behind Gallatin County with 139 cases.

The death toll from the virus remains at seven, and 209 people have recovered.

The number of total tests performed across the state is 9,234, with 136 new tests since the last report on Tuesday morning.

There are 21 people currently in the hospital, and 51 total people have been hospitalized die to the virus.
