Montana COVID-19 cases rise to 241 Thursday afternoon

State adds 14 new cases, including 1 in Yellowstone Co

Montana reported 14 new COVID-19 cases Thursday afternoon, bringing the state's total to 241, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracker.

Yellowstone County added one new case, a man in his 30s, for a total of 35.

Gallatin County, which has been hardest hit by coronavirus, reported eight new cases and now has 93, the most in the state.

Cascade, Missoula, Park and Lake counties all reported one new case Thursday afternoon.

The death toll remained at five and hospitalizations for the disease rose to 24.

On Thursday, 238 new tests were completed in Montana, and 5,426 tests have been completed since the outbreak began.
