Montana state health officials reported one additional death and 162 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.
The state death toll now stands at 98. The additional death was reported in Flathead County. The death was previously reported by Flathead County health officials, but added to the state data on Wednesday.
Yellowstone County had the highest number of new cases with 48. The county now has 847 active cases and 1,864 cumulative total number of cases.
Flathead County reported 32 new cases, and Rosebud county added 31. Missoula County reported nine new cases, while Glacier County added seven and Big Horn County and Gallatin COunty each added six new cases.
The remaining new cases were spread across 13 Montana counties.

There are currently 125 people hospitalized for treatment of the virus.
The total number of tests has reached 238,260, an increase of 1,753 during the previous 24-hour reporting period.
