Montana reports one additional death, 52 new COVID-19 cases (Monday, Sept. 7)

Montana state health officials reported one additional death and 52 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.

The state death toll now stands at 118. The most recent death reported was a woman in her 50s in Big Horn County.

Yellowstone County reported the highest number of new cases with 21. The cumulative total number of cases in the county now stands at 2,305, and there are now 802 active cases in the county.

Big Horn, Lincoln, Meagher and Rosebud counties each reported five new cases. The remaining cases were spread across eight counties.

The cumulative total number of cases in the state now stands at 8,316, and there have been 6,246 recoveries. There are currently 1,952 active coronavirus cases in Montana, and there are 163 people hospitalized for treatment of the virus.
