BILLINGS — Montana State University Billings on Wednesday said the results for two student-athletes who were tested for COVID-19 came back negative for the virus.

Eight players of the MSU-Billings softball team were recently quarantined after a flight to Seattle and road trip to British Columbia for a game.

During the trip, two players reported to coaches that they were not feeling well, which canceled flight plans and returned them home by bus.

Eight members of the team quarantined themselves in a residence hall on campus for precautionary measures.

Those eight players have since been released from quarantine.
