No additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Montana

Montana did not add a confirmed case of COVID-19 on Friday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.

he total number of Montana cases according to state officials stands at 479. MTN is reporting one fewer total cases and one fewer recovered cases due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.

A "cluster outbreak" in Ravalli County was reported earlier this weekand accounted for an increase of seven cases.

There are 23 active cases in the state currently. Ravalli County has eight active cases, Yellowstone County and Big Horn County each have five active cases, while Silver Bow County, Cascade County, Broadwater County and Toole County all have one active case.

A total of 440 people have recovered from the virus, and three people remain hospitalized.

The state conducted an additional 1,077 tests over the previous 24-hour reporting period, increasing the total number of tests statewide to 31,857.

The total number of deaths remains at 16.
