BILLINGS - Sheriff Mike Linder has scheduled a press briefing Monday to provide updates about the spike in COVID-19 cases at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.
The briefing is scheduled for 3 p.m.
On Saturday Linder announced seven more female inmates and one jail staff member had tested positive for the virus after an initial female inmate had a positive test on May 24.
RiverStone Health tested 34 inmates and 41 jail staff on Friday and the results came back on Saturday evening, he said.
