BIG TIMBER - The Sweet Grass County Public Health Department announced Tuesday the county has identified its first COVID-19 case.
In a Facebook post, the health department identified the patient as a man in his 80s. The man has been instructed to remain isolated until he is fully recovered, the post states.
The health department also said it has not been able to determine how the man contracted the virus. The man had limited contacts in the previous two weeks before becoming ill.
The new case is not reflected in the Montana state Tuesday report.
