Billings prerelease reports walkaway

BILLINGS – The Alpha House Men’s Prerelease Center in downtown Billings reports an inmate walked away from the facility Monday evening.

Adam Arthur Elkboy reportedly left the facility located at 104 N. 31 St. at about 6:30 p.m. He has been placed on escape status by the Montana Department of Corrections and an arrest warrant has been issued.

Elkboy was serving time for felony criminal endangerment in Cascade County. State prison records show he also has prior felony convictions for assault with a weapon and theft.

Elkboy, 49, is described as a Native American male, 5-feet, 11-inches tall, 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with ELKBOY printed on it, a gray sweatshirt, tan jeans and brown and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about Elkboy is asked to call their local law enforcement agency.
