Update 4:26 p.m. Mandan, N.D., police say three men and one woman were found dead early Monday morning in an apparent homicide. Next of kin has not been notified, as the victims have not been identified according to Mandan Police.

This is a multiple homicide scene, and police say they are actively searching for a suspect, but no information on who that suspect may be.

Police say the ‘containment’ and the ‘investigation’ do not lead them to believe anyone is in danger, however they won’t comment further on public safety beyond saying ‘there’s no indication the public is in danger.’

It’s being treated as a homicide. There are no reasons to believe public safety is an issue at this time.

BCI, Mandan Police and Morton County’s Sheriff’s Office have been on scene all day. Mandan police are the lead investigators in the case.

There were multiple security cameras surrounding the business according to police.

They are not releasing a timeline of events, or when the 4 were possibly killed.

At this point, Mandan Police are asking businesses in the area to look at surveillance tape, or contact police if there’s information that may help. Specifically in the Memorial Highway area.

BISMARCK – Mandan police are investigating deceased bodies found inside a business Monday morning.

Police are releasing few details but said a medical call to RJR Maintenance and Management in southeast Mandan happened Monday morning.

When officers arrived they found several people deceased inside the building.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is also investigating along with the Morton County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Chief Lori Flaten said police will be releasing more information throughout the day.
